This is the New America

This election and the results shows how america has changed!!!

I feel that this election has now justified what Obama said in his victory speech.

"I believe we can keep the promise of our founding, the idea that if you’re willing to work hard, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from or what you look like or where you love (ph). It doesn’t matter whether you’re black or white or Hispanic or Asian or Native American or young or old or rich or poor, abled, disabled, gay or straight. (Cheers, applause.) You can make it here in America if you’re willing to try."

You acknowledge that america is not how it was 100 years ago you can see the contrast within the change of society, the government and especially the people, in which has been reflected in Obama being re-elected back into office from the amazing support of the Latinos and other minorities.

Obama received votes from the Latinos who voted at a higher rate than in 2008 also African-american, Asian Americans young people and women.

However in contrast with Mitt Romney who got more votes from the older generation shows that some parts in America still value the old ideas.

Which therefore suggests that the Country is divided along racial lines.
